Fix missing conversion of label values to string (#432)

Use GDK_BACKEND environment variable to select x11 backend (#418)

This is more reliable than unsetting WAYLAND_DISPLAY.

hypnotix.py: Disable sdl video output.

This output ignores --wid and opens a separate window. It's ahead of
x11 in mpv's probe order and ends up used in virtual machines.

Disabling it lets x11 become the used fallback, while gpu/gpu-next are
still available for real hardware.
